2017 Targets for San Pedro

Reaching Everyone

San Pedro nearly achieved Everyone—universal access to safe water— in 2015.  In 2016, we will support water and sanitation services in two schools (the last to receive intervention.)  In communities, we will maintain full water coverage while helping committees to better manage water quality, bringing many systems from an intermediate to high level of service.

Achieving Forever

Water For People will work with all 19 water committees in the district to strengthen their capacity in administration, operation, and maintenance. We will help our local partners to analyze tariffs to ensure their sustainability, with the goal of improvement to tariffs in at least ten communities. Training for 20 new plumbers will increase communities' access to professional services.
