2017 Targets for San Benito

Reaching Everyone

We will reach Everyone in San Benito in 2016! Infrastructure projects will consist of one new and one rehabilitated water system, and we will identify unconnected families and provide them with system extensions or (for very remote families) alternative technologies. Water quality will be improved through training for water committees on sample collection and preventative and corrective actions.

Achieving Forever

Raise sustainability 5% by improving tariff rates for 15 water committees; collaborate with the Plumber Training Institute (INFOCAL) to train and certify plumbers and improve community access to their services; support legal registration of water committees; and promote a municipal ordinance requiring financial reporting to the municipal water and sanitation office by water committees.
